I was forwarded this from a friend in this mail loop who received this incredible reply from a person working in Infy at Pune. He had received a stupid mail that made fun of Rajini at 5 20 IST today 27th October, 2010. He had replied in exactly 25 minutes this awesome reply! Now he is the MAN...

Dear Colleagues,

A lot of people are criticizing Rajnikanth or in fact making fun of him.

Let me share with you few of my thoughts,

First of all am not a TAMILIAN (This is to avoid the usual first impression “OH.. he might be from Tamil Nadu”).

Once I was a critic of Rajnikanth and I use to make fun of him.

But when I started watching Tamil movies, I came across lot of good movies, good approach and strong scripts in Tamil (Note: These films didn’t had larger than life hero’s).

Even I saw Tamil movies acted by Vijay, Ajith,Vikram etc.(who are big stars in TN) getting crashed at box-office when they did larger than life roles, and people openly criticizing them for doing such roles. But when it comes to Rajni Tamilians accept everything he does. Even today s youth will die for Rajni. As it is evident from our BB.

This made me THINK in a different angle.

When I started thinking in that angle, what I found made me felt pity for teasing such a true human being. Yes, what I found in Rajni is a real human being, a down to earth person, a responsible citizen.

A person who showcase his real life (Note: I said real life and not reel life) as a message to his people. As Gandhiji said “My life is my Message”. He sets good examples. He conveys good message, even in his latest movie Enthiran there are lot of good messages being conveyed for e.g.: boozing, spitting paan from train.

If u wanna see the real actor in Rajni watch his old movies in 80‘s. Now because of his stardom his roles are limited. But he is a man of simplicity. He never puts make up unless he s acting in a movie.

Even though he is the No.1 in TN. He openly praised his fellow actor Kamal Hasan (am not elaborating it).

Just search YouTube u will get that video.

Rajnikanth thanked Aiswarya Rai for acting opposite him. This was a very funny as well as a touching speech from a legend. Just refer YouTube and search for Rajnikanth s funny speech during Enthiran music release.

In my opinion people love Rajni more as a person, than as an actor. Its true he can make everything possible. If he wishes he will be the next chief minister of TN and that too he don t want to join any political party. He can just form a new political party and contest in elections. Damn sure, he will win the majority. But still Rajnikanth haven’t entered politics.

If Tamilians Respect him, adore him or even consider him as a god. Then, my dear critics of Rajnikanth. Rajnikanth deserves it.

A few points which make him different from the so called stars of cinema:

Rajnikanth is not an actor who goes to late night parties, booz like a mad dog and takes out his SUV and run over poor migrant workers.
Rajnikanth is not an actor who openly supports Pakistanis when the whole India was crying after the Mumbai attack.
Rajnikanth is not an actor who changes his wife like dress nor he chose to marry a girl half his age, even though he s having kids.
Rajnikanth is not an actor who served jail term for anti national activities or share dais or parties with underworld dons.
Rajnikanth is the only actor who repays all the loss caused to the producer, distributors if his film doesn’t go well at the box office for e.g.: Baba, Kuselan.
Rajnikanth never acts in any advertisements nor become a brand ambassador of a product which gives false promises and have a bad impact in our economy. Just think a man who have crores of diehard fans never accept any advertisement offers.

These are just a tip of a huge iceberg. Am just an average reader. Even though I don t know Tamil nor I have ever gone to Tamil Nadu, I could say these much. If people of Tamil Nadu starts speaking about his good character this post will never end. That much good quality this Man possesses.

Am not asking anybody to respect him.

Why making fun or teasing a Good Human being. It hurts the people of Tamil Nadu( our fellow citizens) or his Fans. Because for them, he is the most respected person.

For one to become a hero or a star in the minds of crores of people, there s no need of muscle, color, cash or luxury. Just look at Rajnikanth. You can see how good a human being can be.

And that’s the reason why Tamilians call him

“THALAIVA”

Meaning of thalaiva is oh ohh am not the correct person to explain it. It should come from the heart of a Tamilian.

This is a very short description about Rajnikanth. And I am not posting this as an answer to someone. It’s just my personal opinion.

Police take charge as 2^nd year and 3^rd Year Students Fight it out over silly matters

SCT college witnessed yet another Khakhi clad day as police locked down the campus after another inter semester clash. The issue started after a third year student allegedly threatened a junior. The sophomore was warned against showing up in college.

The junior who turned up was allegedly beaten up by a third year gang. A while later, the junior’s classmates gathered to question the event. This led to a standoff between the two classes. The matter got complicated as the final year students got involved, in a desperate attempt to sort out the issues.

The issue bloomed around noon. The final years, who managed to keep down the fight for a while, later irked the third years by pushing the mob apart. Gradually the argument turned around to a fight between the final years and their just juniors. The situation eased as a few teachers turned up to sort out the chaos. Peace came as lunch break ended.

However, in a short while, more battle cries rang from the top floor as the secondyear and third year students clashed again. In the absence of the Principal (who had reportedly gone to attend an anti-ragging squad meeting), the teachers took the liberty in informing the police.

By the time the peacekeepers had arrived, a good many windows, and noses, were broken. The sights of uniforms drove most of the mob away as the policemen took charge. The police, in their usual style, evacuated the campus as fast as possible. They stayed back till late evening to prevent further incidents.

The teacher who called the police said: “The principal was away. We informed him about it, and we had to inform the police because things started really getting out of hand.”

A staff from the college remarked,: “Sometimes things do get out of control, but if it were at their homes, would they break all the windows?”

SCT is reportedly the only professional college which permits police invasion of the campus without the principals permission. And they wonder why.

IEEE SB SCT is conducting an online treasure hunt CRYPTON.

Crypton is a game which aims at bring out people who can think out of the box.
Its scheduled to run at www.webweaver.in from 17th Feb.

What the game is about:
It is an online treasure hunt that has an undisclosed number of levels.
Each level hosts a crypt which will have a clue hidden somewhere in the webpage, which will be the only source of help to the answer.
A player is required to find the solution to each crypt, only which will let him into the succeeding level.
The answer may contain words,numbers or symbols with no white-spaces.
There will be a leaderboard where all the scores of the participants will be put up.
The one who crosses the last level in the least possible time wins.
The winner will be rewarded with a sum of Rs.1500.

Our college, being ranked among the best in the country owes that credit to some of the unparalleled teaching geniuses working among the staff. It was always noted and said many a time that MOST of our teachers were just out of the world beings, one’s who could just come to class and teach entire subjects at a stretch without anything as little as a glimpse into the text books. The following might tell you why.

We started the third semester two months ago. And like always, we have new teachers, and new subjects. One of these dealt with heat transfers and stuff, which a mere mortal like me still finds pretty hard to comprehend. I was trying to study it for the series exam tomorrow. And then this incident flashed on my mind. Since I’ve already officially given up hopes of passing the exam, I thought I’d just come here and put this much down, hoping to give life to my wheezing, dying blog.

So where was I. Ah yes Heat transfer.

So this Sir. Let us call him Mr. Z.(For the sake of mine sessional marks in case he comes across this post). So Mr. X is teaching us about heat. I’m as usually nodding off in class; my upper torso on the verge of falling over- thanks to another late night the day before, wasting time fruitlessly online. And it happened before I could control it.

What's NEXT?

Probably some of you are aware that the Arun-Aneesh Memorial award will be distributed every year on August 15th. This award was instituted by the 1996-2000 Computer Science students in memory of their classmates - Arun and Aneesh, who passed away on August 15th, 1998. This award which includes a certificate and cash award is given to the topper of each branch of 5th Semester in SCTCE. We would like to request your support and participation for this year's function.

As part of the Aneesh-Arun Memorial award distribution function, the Class of 2000 is organizing–"What's Next".

This is an open forum for the current students undergoing B.Tech course. This forum will provide you an opportunity to address topics which are more relevant to your future career. Whether it is choosing a career path, opting for higher studies or just life beyond college, we welcome all your questions.

We will have a diverse group of people looking forward to answering the questions you have. The panel is composed of your seniors from the 1996-2000 Batch, who are playing various roles in the industry like Project Manager, Technical Architect, Entrepreneur, Marketing Manager, VLSI Design Engineer, Teaching Faculty, Test Manager, Business Solutions Consultant, Scientist etc.

Greetings. I am happy to know that such kind of activity exists within the sctce group and greatly do appreciate the efforts taken to setup up this blog site. First of all let me give a small introduction to you about me. I am an ex-sctian, ME Prod Batch (1997-2001) presently working in US. I work as a PLM Consultant for one of the biggest aerospace companies. I derive great pleasure in being part of this community and anxiously waiting to see more developments in this community. Court calls for scrutiny of posting Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Thursday directed the Director of Technical Education Department to scrutinise teachers' appointments at the Pappanamcode Sri Chithira Tirunal Engineering College. A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice V.K. Bali and Justice J.B. Koshy said the Director should examine whether the appointments were in accordance with the norms prescribed by the All India Technical Education Council and submit a report to the court within two months. The petition filed by Aathyavan Kottarakkara said the appointment of teachers by the Board of Directors of the college, headed by Transport Minister N. Sakthan, had irregularities and corruption. Though the counsel for the college contended that neither the State Government nor the KSRTC had control over its affairs, the court was prima facie not inclined to accept this. — UNI

Quest '06 this year builds on the long tradition of its predecessors of being a catalyst for the interaction of the electronics industry, experts, as well as aspiring engineers. This year, quest comes in a variety of flavours, ranging from Cultural to Commercial Expo, Technical to Cyber athletics. Cultural is a pot-pourri of events to satisfy the need for expression and talent with events like Executive decision, VJ Hunt, while the Expo showcases Industry leaders in the field of consumer electronics, services etc. The technical events, the mainstay of quest, consist of the regular items like paper presentation, as well as innovative events like photopopper and cynosure. Cyber athletics features the FIRST LAN PARTY IN TRIVANDRUM with high performance gaming rigs .You're invited to bring your system along too, as there is always room for more frags and headshots!

All of this is happening this weekend on the 11th and 12th of March at Kanakakunnu palace grounds, spread over several venues. EDUSAT, the first International Satellite Exclsuively for Educational Purposes was launched by India and Kerala being the first state to use its potentials.

A very few colleges are now edusat terminals, Our Prestigious College being one of those. I have been personally taken to Gorkee Bhavan, Trivandrum, an Uplink station for a Live Telecast of Educational Show conducted by none other than Mr. Bobby Philip on Electrical. The whole experience was quite heart throbbing since we saw something that was beyond what we expected. 5 heavy cameras snapping our each move and showing it on CGPU hall, LIVE AND EXCLUSIVE!!!
